第16回流砂・河床変動に関する若手研究会(2026 Taiwan-Japan Joint Symposium on River Hydraulics and Sediment Transport) を行いました.

昨年3月に本勉強会を台湾で行った際にもてなしていただいたので,今回はそのお返しの意味も込めて釧路で台湾の皆さんと勉強会を行いました.

二日目は釧路湿原の現地見学でした.
地形の変化と人間の経済活動を踏まえて湿原保護がどのように行われてきたのかを教えていただきました.

日本と同様に土砂災害が多い台湾の研究者の皆さんと議論ができる良い機会となりました!
